Microsoft announced in a statement Sunday it "is prepared to continue discussions to explore a purchase of TikTok in the United States" following a conversation between the tech giant's CEO Satya Nadella and President Trump.
Of note: Trumpsaid Friday night that he'd ban TikTok. But Republican sources told Axios earlier Sunday that he may allow Microsoft to buy the app's U.S. operations if there's "complete separation" from the original Beijing-based company.
