Police are responding to a shooting at a Black Lives Matter protest in downtown Austin, Texas, on Saturday night.
Details: Austin-Travis County EMS said in a statement an adult patient was transported to a local trauma center with "critical, life threatening injuries" following the shooting at Fourth Street and Congress Avenue. Police later described the scene at the same intersection as a homicide.
- Video filmed by a protester and posted to social media shows gunshots ringing out just before 10 p.m. local time. The protester said during the Facebook live the person with the gun had charged into the crowd.
